Gabriel Khoury '24

Gabriel Khoury is a senior at Harvard College pursuing a joint concentration in mathematics and computer science with a secondary in economics. He is a Canadian-Lebanese who has spent his entire life in Beirut, Lebanon. During high school, he was pursuing a life science specialization and had the opportunity to launch his own biotech startup creating a bacterial product that can turn any organic or mineral wastes into natural fertilizer in 21 days. He is a firm believer in the importance of the gym and strength training as it changed his life in ways he never dreamt of. At this point in time, he is a devout crypto and stock market enthusiast.

 

Jan Riecke '25

Jan Riecke is a junior at Harvard College concentrating in Government. He attended the bilingual John F. Kennedy High School in Berlin. In high school, he balanced a competitive soccer level with extracurriculars like the Approval Panel at MUN conferences and High School Band. At Harvard, he plays for the varsity soccer team, while working as a product designer for the student organization Tech for Social Good. He has also mentored high schoolers around the world in presenting and public speaking related to sustainability and politics for the Harvard Undergraduate Clean Energy Group. Jan is eager to share his experience in public speaking, leadership, and writing, as well as his knowledge of Politics, History, Programming, English, and German.

Vicki Zou is sophomore at Harvard from Flushing, New York. Vicki intends on concentrating in Economics and Statistics with a secondary in East Asian Studies. She attended the Bronx High School of Science, where she was a varsity policy debater and director of the creative writing club. She also conducted social science research and tutored extensively for non-profit organizations. At Harvard, Vicki is a member of the Harvard Financial Analyst Club and publicity chair for Harvard's Chinese Students Association. She also enjoys writing poetry and playing badminton on the Harvard badminton club. Dekyus is a sophomore at Harvard College studying Neurobiology and Computer Science. He attended Key West High School where he was varsity basketball captain and was involved with numerous volunteer organizations. Dekyus also spent his summers studying number theory at Brown University and various types of engineering at Lehigh University. At Harvard, he is the Social Chair of the Harvard Society of Black Scientists and Engineers, Treasurer for the Harvard Classics Club Basketball Team, and a Phillips Brooks House Association volunteer. Dekyus has substantial experience tutoring English, Biology, Chemistry, and Math (from Pre-algebra to Calculus 2) at any level up to the AP level. He is also very familiar with aiding in SAT preparation. After his undergrad experience, Dekyus plans to pursue software engineering, computational neuroscience, or consulting.

 

Isabela Gonzalez-Lawand '26

Isabela Gonzalez-Lawand is a second year student at Harvard College who is concentrating in psychology with a minor in education. She graduated from International High School in Paterson, NJ as valedictorian of her International Bachelorettes (IB) class, graduating with a 4.9 GPA. Throughout high school Isabela worked closely with students in middle school to assist them with high school applications and passion projects. She also worked and continues to work with a non-profit camp called Sunrise Day Camp where she spends her time managing and assisting children with cancer and their siblings. At Harvard, Isabela continues her work back home through assisting low income and first gen students with applications to college, some of her mentees have gotten into schools such as Georgetown and Brown University, to name a few. She is an intern at the Harvard Foundation and is the communication chair for Harvard Fuerza Latina. She has extensive experience in college prep, extra curricular activites, IB testing/exams, as well as US History, English, and Social Studies. After college Isabela intends on getting her masters in psych and attending law school with the goal of being a psychologist for children and families impacted by cancer.

 

Emma Kate Price '25

Emma Kate Price is a junior concentrating in Mechanical Engineering with a secondary in Astrophysics. On campus, she is the editor of The Ichthus, an officer on the board of Harvard Society of Women Engineers, and a coordinator of Camp Kesem Harvard. She is also involved in STAHR and the Astronomy Society. She has tutored for over five years in a variety of subjects, including a ACT tutoring, PSAT tutoring, AP subject tutoring, and application preparation tutoring. She is from Camdenton, Missouri, where she was captain of the Science Research program, a FIRST robotics officer, and a state DECA officer.

 

Gracia Perala '25

Gracia Perala is a sophomore at Harvard College studying English and Psychology. She is from a small town in Upper Michigan, where during high school she was a JROTC company commander and member of the band and drumline. At Harvard, she is on The Crimson's editorial board. She loves teaching and tutoring, and has experience instructing English, psychology, pre-law, politics, and research. Gracia isn't sure what she wants to do after her undergrad years, but is considering law school or a PhD program.

 

Isabela De Los Rios '26

Isabela De los Rios is a rising sophomore at Harvard. She is planning to concentrate on Government with a secondary field in statistics. She’s an international student from Medellín, Colombia. During high school, she was part of the student government and the dance team. She also worked as a math and English tutor during these years. At Harvard, Isabela is mainly involved with the Harvard International Review and Harvard Organization for Latin America. During the term, she works as Statistics Teaching Fellow. She has also done research in history, politics, and international relations since high school.

 

Hailey Krasnikov '25

Hailey Krasnikov is a Sophomore at Harvard studing Neuroscience and Economics. In high school, she was the Co-Editor-in-Chief of her school newspaper, was the Tournament Director of the chess club, and was involved in the student council. At Harvard, Hailey is heavily involved in the Harvard Crimson currently serving as an Diversity and Inclusion Chair, while being a Staff Writer for the Arts and Blog content boards. She also co-founded the Harvard Undergraduate Disability Justice Club and serves as their Treasurer. She has experience tutoring writing and providing college application assistance. Hailey is also knowledgable in AP exam preparation. She plans on pursuing a career in biotechnology or medicine, and exploring the intersection between life science and business.

 

Alyvia Bruce '24

Alyvia Bruce is a current senior at Harvard College studying a joint concentration in government and history with a secondary in education and a language citation in American Sign Language. Alyvia applied to 27 schools and universities back in 2019 and was accepted to all 27 including Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, UPenn, Columbia, University of Chicago and University of Michigan. On campus, Alyvia is involved with club tennis, club swim, the sorority Alpha Phi, a board member for Women in Law, a board member for Harvard Model Congress and Harvard Model UN, in addition she works for a boutique consulting firm doing venture capital and financial consulting work, she enjoys reading, traveling, drinking coffee, watching sitcoms (her favorite being FRIENDS) and hanging out with her service dog Czarina. Ishika Vyas '26

Ishika Vyas is a sophomore at Harvard College studying Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology (HDRB) on the premedical track. In high school, she was a head officer for the pre-health/pre-med club at her school for 2 years, and a member for all 4 years. She helped students learn more about medicine and get resources and in contact with professionals in the field. She was also a part of the high school newspaper as a writer, and also as an executive editor her senior year. As a part of the paper, she has gained extensive experience in writing, editing, and multimedia creation. On campus, she is involved in South Asian Association as well as The Harvard Brain, the neuroscience magazine. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, going to the gym, and writing poetry. In terms of tutoring, she has been a tutor for english, biology, and chemistry as a part of the National Honor Society in high school. She has also mentored several students in the college class of 2027 going through the college application process. She has mentored in all aspects of college essay writing process including but not limited to brainstorming, outlining, and editing.

Chibuikem Uche is a senior at Harvard studying Government. He is from Dallas, Texas and attended Richardson High School where he was the Senior Class President and Varsity Debate Team Captain. He was a member of the Varsity Debate Team and Health Occupations Students of America. He is involved in Nigerian Student Association, Harvard College Podcast Network, Harvard Intramurals, and a variety of other activities. He records podcasts, plays sports, and volunteers as hobbies. Nouraldeen Ibrahim '26

Nouraldeen Ibrahim, originally from Brooklyn, New York, is a sophomore at Harvard College and a resident of Kirkland House. He intends to concentrate in Molecular and Cellular Biology, while also pursuing a secondary field in Global Health and Health Policy. Nouraldeen is actively involved in the Harvard Undergraduate Research Association as a Director of Programming. Additionally, he is currently conducting research at the Cole Lab of Harvard Medical School's Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology department, focusing on developing novel biosensors to detect histone modifications and study their impact on various disease states. In his free time, Nouraldeen enjoys playing soccer, working out at the gym, and learning new skills.

 

Kaylee Burgess '24

Kaylee Burgess is a senior at Harvard College, concentrating in government with a secondary in ethnicity, migration, and rights. She is heavily involved in model UN and model Congress on campus, both competing and running conferences for other college students and high schoolers. Kaylee has been tutoring with HSA for over a year now but has extensive experience mentoring students with college applications, essays, SATs, debate, and English for over five years.

 

David Hill '24

David Hill has been a tutor for 2 years at HSA Tutoring and has completed more than 1,200 hours of tutoring and mentorship. They were born and raised in Georgia where they currently live. They are a junior at Harvard University and will graduate in 2024. They plan to concentrate in applied mathematics with a secondary in physics. As you can probably see given their major, their favorite subject in school was mathematics. In high school, they enjoyed being JROTC commander and Math Honor society president. They love to read historical books and play chess in their free time. Additionally, they enjoy running and playing video games.

 

Abigail Romero '24

Abigail Romero is a senior at Harvard studying Applied Math and Economics. She yields from Long Island, New York. In high school, Abigail participated competitively in science research and business competitions. At Harvard, Abigail has been a course assistant for economics, calculus, and linear algebra courses. She was also a research assistant at Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School and has done policy research at the Harvard Kennedy School. She has had experience tutoring in Spanish, economics, and mathematics since 2017. She founded a college application consulting 501(c)(3) organization and has extensive experience helping high school students in the admissions process. She has previously worked on Wall Street, and plans on going to graduate school.

 

Guillermo Mogollon '25

Guillermo Mogollon is an international student and a junior at Harvard College studying environmental science and engineering with a minor in economics. He grew up in Venezuela where he completed the IB Diploma program at The British School of Caracas, doing higher level Maths, Physics, English literature and Business, as well as standard level Spanish literature and Theater; he also completed the IGCSE program prior with advanced maths. At Harvard Guillermo was in the First Year Public Service Council, an AD at the HMUN conference and works a part time job at HSA's cleaners and dorms essentials. His main hobbies are playing futsal/soccer, basically any outdoor activity traveling and going out to explore Boston cycling. Guillermo has had experience teaching English, tutoring for Spanish as a 2nd language, tutoring for math, running theater/public speaking workshops and his most relevant experience has been with mentorship for college applications/essays, navigating financial aid and applications for international students and general extracurricular/leadership mentorship.

Caleb Yee '25

Caleb Yee is a junior at Harvard studying Pure Mathematics with a secondary in Statistics. Born in Massachusetts, Caleb graduated from Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School. In high school, he was a member of the Math Team, a student advisor to the Racial Climate Task Force, and an advocate for his peers as Vice President of the Student Senate and a member of the School Council alongside parents and faculty. He was also Captain of the Varsity Boy's Track team for two seasons, during which he broke two school records. At Harvard, he serves as a board member of the Harvard Korean Association. He is also a research team member for the Emerging Technology Initiative and Harvard Undergraduate Clean Energy Group, and a member of the Varsity Men's Track and Field Team. After college, he hopes to pursue a Masters degree in Applied Mathematics and work to combat the climate crisis.

Emma Finn '26

Emma Finn is a sophomore from Annapolis, MD intending to study Applied Math (with a focus in Economics) and Classics. She graduated from Philips Exeter Academy where she received a classical diploma. She is also one of five 2021 Coolidge Scholars. At Exeter she led the Ethics team to nationals and was president of the student service organization, which had nearly 600 student volunteers. She also helped update Exeter's Ancient Greek textbook. At Harvard, she is a member of the Harvard College Consulting Group and a Public Service Representative for her yard. Last semester she was a teaching assistant for an honors economics class at a Cambridge high-school. She's excited to tutor mathematics, economics, Ancient Greek, Latin, reading, writing, and history.

Jamie Milton is a sophomore at Harvard College who is concentrating in Government. She graduated as valedictorian from Argosy Collegiate Charter High School in Fall River, Massachusetts. In high school, she was a part of the National Honors Society and functioned as a scholar athlete!
